Allow audiences to try a play before they buy a ticket (and invite their friends).
1. Problem: People don’t go and see a play because they don’t know what awaits them.

2. Solution: Give them a free excerpt of the first ten minutes they can watch on their computer, tablet or phone. Give them a free taste of what to expect. (Like authors provide free excerpts of the first ten chapters of their latest novel to hook readers.)

3: Value: Overcomes resistance. Audiences get to try before they buy. It qualifies the audiences and better manages expectation and satisfaction. (If you don’t like the first ten minutes, you’ve saved yourself the disappointment of not enjoying the play. If you love the first ten minutes, you’ll be able to buy a ticket right off the screen then go and watch it for real.)
